The Meaning of the Logo
Hearts surrounding the yellow circle elicit emotions of love, warmth and kindness of every DCS people.
Circle represents the stability of the "whole person" which the school seeks to nurture. It also denotes the value of community, friendship, excellence and love.
1949 - indicates the founding year of the school in Dalipuga, Iligan City.
Laurel represents honour, distinction or fame with the leaves that represent DCS' continuous existence. The green color of the laurel symbolizes freshness and the continuous quest for knowledge.
Crescent in honor of Dali and Puga, whose legend will be treasured forever
Cross denotes the Christian community who are the major clients of the school.
Stars refer to the achievements and victories earned
Torch & Yellow Rays are the common emblems of enlightenment and hope for DCS. They generate power of flame to everyone who aims victory on any level of competitions.
Book signifies quality education towards promoting optimal instruction.
Quill and Ink represent the freedom of everyone to articulate ones opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation.
Scientific Symbol connotes quality of instruction towards math and science which the school aims to pursue.
Yellow color stands for happiness, confidence, intellect, and loyalty of its clientele.
Blue Color is a calming color that shows creativity and intelligence. It is a color that symbolizes loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust.​
White Color is a positive color that signifies purity, goodness, brilliance and understanding among the DCS family.
